On Friday 1st May, the iPubs team returned to The Queen's Club for the first time in circa 15 years.

We were greeted with 24°C sunshine, and blue skies which, coupled with the red clay, made us feel like we were in Spain rather than West Kensington.

We were rather oversubscribed for this fixture and so managed to field some eligible players for the home side to boost iPubs representation, and were represented by Jorge Wilton, Charlie Lilley, Andrés Bartlett, Henry Wilkinson, Ben Mercer and Chris Lloyd, with Chris Kurkjian and Krishna Amin playing for the home side also.

Despite a very strong performance from Jorge and Charlie, the result was 5-4 to Queens. It was as close to a draw as you could get.

All the players enjoyed themselves greatly and we then had a delicious hot dinner in the Member's Grille restaurant to wrap up a fine evening.
